quicio (n.) · Spanish · the hinge-side of a door, where it pivots
Your body moves on hinges. We train every one of them.
In-home strength coaching built around how your ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders work together. Each joint answers to the one above it and the one below it, so that's how we build your program.
About
Hi, I'm Jesse.
I'm an NSCA‑certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), and I come to you with kettlebells, bands, and a plan built around your body instead of a generic template.
Before we load anything heavy, we learn how you actually move. You fill out a physical readiness questionnaire and informed consent, then we run a Functional Movement Screen to catch imbalances before they turn into pain. We build strength on that foundation, one session at a time.
If you're curious about training, or you work with people trying to stay strong and independent as they age, I'm always happy to grab a coffee and talk it through. No pressure to sign up for anything.

SCREEN
Functional Movement Screen
We look above and below the joint that's bothering you, not just at the sore spot, to find the real cause.
-
RELEASE
Myofascial Release
Foam rolling, self myofascial release, and targeted trigger‑point work loosen the tissue before we ask it to work.
